They deal in the best way they can. My mom is very protective (no you’re not allowed to take the bus, no you’re not allowed to eat that), and my dad does a lot of research. If it weren’t for his research I would’ve been put on a less effective chemo drug after my thrombosis. When I was still finishing high school he REALLY pushed me through my exams. Maybe he was a little too harsh. Sometimes I don’t agree with their way of handling certain things, but I guess that everything they do, they do because they care. Their marriage has gotten better post-cancer I think, which is really nice. Plus I’m a lot closer to them, and my brother/sisters now.
Oh and my mum cooks yum healthy food which makes keeping weight on a lot easier!
If I have kids one day, I hope to be as good a parent to them as mine have been to me.

I cut out all the underwires from my bras. Didn’t really need them and its nice not to have bits of metal digging into my ribs. I don’t know why I didn’t do this years ago?

This is pretty overdue but I just want to shoutout to Gita for getting into the airforce! I’m super proud and also really grateful and happy that I have kickass girlfriends. Yeah!
Had to take my methotraxate (thats chemo for ya, not meth) orally instead of IV yesterday because they don’t do fancy hospitals 2000m up. The only doc in miles is the cow doc and he specializes in sticking his arm up cow vaginas to fertilize them. No joke, I saw it once when I was 9. Any notions I had about happy cows frolicking around and getting down in daisy fields GONE. Fuck you Milka.
The pills are piss-coloured and kind of taste like it too :(. I was a little bit disappointed that they didn’t glow in the dark. Pill manufacturers: glow in the dark pills - get on it! Useful for taking at night or when they roll under a couch or something.
